Author
Peter Kronenberg, MD, PhD, is a consultant urological surgeon in Portugal and a Fellow of the European Board of Urology.
He has held international roles in endourology, surgical education, research and medical technology, including being former President of PETRA Urogroup, faculty/trainer for the European School of Urology, scientific advisor to major medical device companies, and was a former Commanding Medical Officer.
His clinical and academic work has been focused on technically demanding areas of medicine in which evidence, outcomes, reproducibility and real-world practice must align.
He has spent more than a year reviewing the medical and scientific evidence, clinical reasoning, reported outcomes and institutional practice surrounding psychiatric euthanasia in the Netherlands.
